Flick

Objective:
Using your own piece, players take turns trying to hit their opponent’s pieces off the board by flicking their own pieces into them. Last player with pieces on the board wins!

Starting the Game:
For the basic two player game, each player takes three pieces of the same colour and places them anywhere within a two hexagon depth from their board edge. More game variations are available at the bottom of these instructions.

Game Play:
Using your fingers, try to flick one of your pieces into one or more of your opponent’s pieces to knock them completely off the board.
TIP: Harder isn’t better! Powerful flicks tend to shoot your own piece off the table and shatter windows!
WARNING: AwesomeboX Games is not responsible for broken windows, glasses (reading, drinking, or otherwise), lost pieces, or any other kind of damage or injury that occurs from irresponsible game play.

Piece Elimination:
ANY piece that is knocked off of the game board (not just the hexagon grid, but rather the square board), is eliminated from play. Even if it’s your own piece that you flicked off! If a piece is still partly on the board, but touching the table, it’s eliminated as well.

Game Variations:

  • Each player uses more than three pieces for their team.
  • Multiple players set up their pieces around the board for some 3+ player action.
  • Extra pieces are dropped onto the board to pose as obstacles.
